Rio Mendoza Great River Rows is a line of small production premium wines,
the result of long periods of research of the best terroirs within our estates. This
wonderful Malbec is the faithful reflection of a special vineyard located in a
micro-region of Luján de Cuyo, selected for its unique quality characteristics.

STORY:

Bodega Lagarde’s history dates back to the early years of grapevine
cultivation and the wine industry of Mendoza, in Argentina. Established in
1897 and managed by the Pescarmona family since 1970, we have always
worked to achieve the same goal of producing the highest quality wine,
holding a strong commitment to our land and its people. We are one of the
oldest family owned and managed wineries in the heart of Mendoza and
we are proud to count with historic and centennial vineyards that were
planted in 1906 and 1930.

100% Malbec
Alcohol: 13.9 %
Sugar residue: 1.9 g/l.
Total acidity: 5.3 g/l.
PH: 3.6.
Vineyards: Luján de Cuyo – Mendoza.
Planted in: 1906.
Altitude: 850 masl.
Aging method: 100% of wine spent 12 months in French oak barrels and
another 12 months in the bottle.
Storage potential: over 10 years.

TASTING NOTES

Deep red with burgundy highlights.
Intense aromas dominated by ripe red fruits and jams, combined with so�t
aromatic contribution of oak, vanilla, chocolate and smoke.
Elegant in the mouth with good concentration and smoothness. It has silky
tannins, typical of Argentine Malbec

PAIRING SUGGESTION

Ideal with grilled red meats or pasta with sauce.
